Airlines and Discounts

Airlines and Discounts

Friends, if you are planning to fly in for the April 16 reunion, you might consider booking on a Tuesday and certainly the sooner, the better. Most of the travel search engines, Expedia, Kayak, etc., know well that Tuesday seems to be the best day for discounted seat prices. It seems to work for me, so I pass it along to you.

If you are flying to Philly, you will find the best flight availability on American Airlines; they have 70% of the air traffic in & out,  but all major airlines do use Philly. The same is true for Continental Airlines in Newark (about an hour and half to Mt. Laurel, but an easy airport as opposed to either of the other NYC nightmares). Finally, there is Spirit Airlines to Atlantic City, the easiest and least expensive of all, about 45 minutes to Mt. Laurel. Just bring your own water on board and try to be short like me, they pack ‘em in. And Frontier to Trenton is also about 45 minutes or less. Rapid Rover is a good shuttle service to and from Philly International. And many of the hotels have their own shuttles.

Safe travel and see you all in three months!
