I'm shocked I've outlived Barry. The Hartigan brothers always seemed so athletic -- so full of energy! I'm such a couch potato. I recall one of them, whether Dennis or Barry, I'm not sure, from Central School. Mrs. Drake. I wonder whatever became of her?

Barry was a lifelong Haddonfield resident. He owned and operated Turf Irrigation for 27 years. He and his wife, Deborah Jamerison Hartigan, had two sons.

Last sighting, he looked like our own Wayne Gretsky (sp?) - all good.

I loved Barry like a brother and think of him often and miss him.

Barry and I became good friends after high school. He developed a very successful irrigation business in the local area which is still operating today. When he wasn't working, he loved to go fishing.

Barry recommended many of his customers to me for property maintenance. So, even though I thanked him each time, I still feel that I owe him a debt of gratitude. His grave is not far from my son's in the Baptist Cemetery across from the high school. I think of Barry with fond memories every time I go there.
